Outdoor Curriculum

Our outdoor curriculum is organized as a multi-sensory environment. There are different areas for the children to play and expand the knowledge and experiences from the indoor curriculum. There is a sand area, playground area, water area, pretend play area and garden. In our backyard the children play and observe the nature: season changing, insects, birds, plants and trees. They also develop the gross motor coordination through all our directed activities such as obstacle courses and slack line. In appropriate seasons the children learn how to plant vegetables and flowers and take care of them during the following months.
