Montessori

Autana School provides the children with a prepared Montessori environment in which they have the freedom to explore, learn, create and be independent. The teachers according to the Montessori Philosophy serve as “guides” in the learning process. We provide many interesting, beautiful and educational Montessori materials that support the learning of multiple concepts.

 

· Bringing other Educational Philosophies into our curriculum

We also bring the best of other great philosophies, because we believe that all of them have something great to give us.  The teachers incorporate storytelling and fantasy, art and music. We also, have a fun “dramatic play area” outside where the children can role play and pretend play.

 

· Interactive Spanish Program

Our library area is filled with story books and music in Spanish, our teachers are completely bilingual and they interact in Spanish with the children during the daily activities. We use repetition of the vocabulary in different situations. We also transmit the language in different ways, because we believe that children learn differently.

 

· Multi-cultural and international directed program

We believe that the Human race is one and that our differences as humans make us unique. We believe that learning from other cultures and backgrounds is a way to enrich our own lives.

   Program
