Patricia Santamaria

The name of our school was inspired by an extraordinary flat top mountain or “tepui”, located in the Venezuelan Rain Forest. On the top, this mountain has an enormous cave full of quartz  that runs from side to side.

Autana is a sacred mountain for the native tribes that live in its surroundings, and its name means “the tree of all fruits”.

For us, this very unique and virtually untouched place is like the souls of the children.
